A Lesson From Wounded Knee

Two things have changed in Washington since the close of the Indian Wars—the people holding the reins of power and the people they desire to control.  The desire to control never changes in war or following war; neither does the purpose of war, which is to disarm those that oppose being controlled.  A way to prevent war is to surrender the means of resistance, and then the war often becomes a massacre.
